One of the less terrible things about 2016 was Netflix's original series "Stranger Things". A paranormal, sci-fi, 80's homage that caught the imagination of younger and older viewers, the show has quickly become on of the true crossover shows that Netflix has put their name to, along with "House of Cards", "Making a Murderer" and "Orange is the New Black".
Halloween will be an exciting time for "Stranger Things" fans, as it's the approximate release date of Season 2 of the 80's set series. What we know so far is very little apart from the following: The new series takes place a year after the events of the first, with almost all of the main cast returning, with a few new additions. As you'll see from the images below, Winona Ryder and David Harbour return as Joyce Byers and Jim Hopper respectively. Charlie Heaton and Natalia Dyer are also back as Jonathan Byers and Nancy Wheeler, and we also see the four boys from season one, this time as a full unit unlike in the first season where Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) spent most of the series in the "upside down".
One of the pictures gives us a clue as to what movie the boys were fans of in 1984, the year the season is set. We also see Sadie Sink as the mysterious Max, of whom not a lot is known about at this stage. Conspicuous by her absence in the most recent set of images is Millie Bobby Brown who played Eleven in season one. She has been confirmed, but as to what role she'll take, who knows!
Take a peek at the photos below, and check out the trailer too!
What do you guys think? Excited about returning to Hawkins, Indiana?
