Powder 'n' Pout HD Buffer P230

A new year, a new brush for the collection thanks to Powder 'n' Pout. This was a welcome little addition and was sent to me to try out, so over the last month I've been putting this HD buffer to the test.

The brush can be used on foundations, creams, and primers. It's a great little brush for stippling and buffing in your product. With a short handle I thought it might have been heavy handed using it but because the brush hairs are long and soft I don't get heavy with application. The brush flares out when buffing for ease and quick application which I love.

The products I use don't go deep into the brush but sit on the top just where I want it, so my product isn't going to waste deep inside the brush. The different hair lengths and soft duo fibre technology make  the difference here. It's very different to my other buffers as they are more densely compacted, but I'm preferring this lately as it doesn't aggravate the dry patches on my forehead when buffing in foundation.

I did notice that there was some shedding of the hairs at first but this can happen sometimes with new brushes, but after second wash (and it dries quickly) this wasn't an issue.

The range was created by Aisling Cunningham, a professional makeup artist with her own salon in Carndonagh, County Donegal. With her expertise and knowledge she has created an affordable, high quality makeup brush line for us all to enjoy.

The HD Buffer is usually €19.00 but there is a special offer at the moment so you can pick this up for just €14.99

    1. This particular brush dried quickly and I think it's because the bristles aren't as densely compacted. Hope you like it as much as me if you try it out x

  5. Good to see more Irish beauty products on the market. My stippling brush is really long so to get one with full length hairs but smaller handle would be perfect for my handbag.I'll have to check them out on twitter x
