Irish Beauty & Lifestyle Bloggers Inspire Meetup

This day last week we all descended on Cream Dreams on Wexford Quay for a mega meetup! It was long time in the pipeline getting the Irish Beauty & Lifestyle Bloggers Inspire members to have their first meetup, and in Wexford.
The group was started last year as a support network for bloggers with the aim of inspiring one another. With myself, Sara from Where is my mind? and Anita from Anita's Beauty Spot as admins we got to work at arranging the meetup. We had some amazing brands get involved and were so happy to support us. Both Sara & Anita were absolutely brilliant with getting things organised, both live in Kildare and Wicklow yet it was like they were here the whole time in Wexford with me.

So my front hall was lined up with goodie bags, prizes and treats galore it was a bit of a maze for a few days as everything came together.

We had an amazing time at Cream Dreams which is situated on Wexford Quay, and it has the most amazing Ice creams, toasties and coffee. It's my favourite place to go with Lillibug for a treat day so it was definitely the perfect setting for the meetup. The staff are so amazing in their and a big thank you to Sophie who was helping to look after us on the day, she was an absolute star!

We also had two beautiful hampers that were kindly given to us by Sam McCauley Chemist for our raffle. We raised €110 for the Cardiac Rehab Unit in Wexford General which was fantastic.

The wonderful and inspirational Niamh from Holos Skincare from Nature joined us to give a talk on how her business came to be and how she done it, it truly was an inspiring talk. Also Niamh gave us amazing samples for our goodie bags, and I'm sure there will be purchases made soon (cough cough).

The wonderful Dawn from the Benefit counter in Sam McCauley Redmond Square, also joined us for a talk and demo about Benefit's products. Lucky Eimear from Chirps from a little Red Hen got to have her makeup done by Dawn, and it was fab to see the products at work! Eimear looked just amazing. Dawn is who I go to for my makeup needs because she is just brilliant and so much fun to be around.

It was brilliant to meet our fellow bloggers and have an afternoon together, some I had the pleasure of meeting before, but I also got to meet so many more that I had only ever spoken to through social media.
The goodie bag was jam packed with yumminess thanks to Vita Coco and Popchips, so they came in handy for journey's home. Then there was so beautiful products that were new to me like the exfoliating glove and tanning mitt from Glove Your Body. Wet N Wild makeup, Ziaja, and the newly launched in Ireland Bioderma Micellar Solution! Sam McCauley also gave us a discount on the day for Benefit and 15% off a salon treat too, so I'm making a beeline for a facial. Netflix also gave us 3 goodie bags to giveaway of Orange is the New Black merchandise with 1 year free subscription and a yoga mat! We were all so lucky with the goodie bags, and prizes and we can't thank the companies enough.

A huge thank you to the members who travelled from near and far to the meetup it was an absolute delight to spend an afternoon with you and get to know you all better. I really hope it's not the last time we are all together!
