I hit a bit of wall back in November with my skin and found that my usual products were just not giving me what I needed. So finally after months of trying out new products I've finally hit the jackpot. My skin is looking fresher, less dry patches and some scars from bad breakouts I was having to medication have started to diminish.
I start my morning off by cleansing with the Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser (€28), I absolutely love how this makes my fact soft and I feel like my face gets a great massage as I really take my time working the oil into my skin.
If my skin needs to be exfoliated in the morning I will use the Ziaja Olive Leaf Gel Scrub (€5.99) which is really refreshing and gentle on my sensitive skin, and this can be used not just for your face but your body too.
The only thing that hasn't changed in my skincare routine is the Holos Floral Toner from the Love Your Skin range (€15.20). This will remain a firm favourite with me and is still the only toner to date that doesn't tear the skin off me.
For my delicate eye area, I still change up the products regularly but I've been liking The Body Shop Vitamin E Eyes cube that I got in London last month. It really handy and great for carrying the handbag if I need an extra swipe of this during the day.
This year was the year for adding a serum into the mix and I've been using the Nivea Q10plus Anti-wrinkle Serum Pearls (€14.99). This has really brightened up my dull complexion and has boosted the hydration in my skin by a mile.
I finish off my routine with Ziaja Olive Leaf Concentrated Nourishing Cream (€5.99) which has spf 20. I won't leave the house without this moisturiser on my face. It's not greasy, feels fresh, smells fresh and soaks in wonderfully to my dry skin.
So this new routine of products has being working wonders on my skin and once again I have no problem going makeup free and worrying about my how my skin looks anymore.
Stay tuned for my evening skincare routine coming up soon!
