Gimme Gimme A Brow I Can Rely On

Such a small tube with a small wand but with mega impact to give you beautiful brows.

Who doesn't love a good brow, and now with so many products on the market it's hard to choose what to get. From powders to pencils, and gels to palettes for our eyebrows the whole process can become overwhelming.

I used to use a powder or pencil but only if I had time to make the effort but for the last year I've gone through 3 (yes, you heard me 3!) of Benefit's Gimme Brow. This is the quickest and handiest way for me to clean up my brows and fill in any gaps. No faffing about with separate eyebrow brushes, sharpeners or worrying about how precise I am, this little tiny wonder is my go to all time favourite eyebrow product.

The little brush is the perfect size for working through your eyebrows and depositing the fibre gel. It's longwearing and doesn't smudge. I also got caught in the rain a few times with this and it didn't even budge! You get great control building up your eyebrows with the tapered brush. My brows are very light near the ends thanks to being a blonde child, so they can sometimes look like they have disappeared. This is one of the main reasons as I like using Gimme Brows; it gives a natural look but deepens my brows and defines them.

Only catch is the price, it comes in at €24.50. It is my go to product for my brows but with rumours of a dupe I'm on the hunt for a budget friendly version that can do the above for me. The Gimme Brows does get 5 stars from me and love it.

What do you prefer to use for your eyebrows? I'd love to know.

  1. I really loved Gimme Brow, but it's a bit expensive, I agree!! There are a few dupes in Boots that I've yet to try!! I've been using the Soap & Glory "The Archery" (the one with the brush on one end) and it's AMAZING!

  2. I've never used anything like this for my brows, I love the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade - I think it's around the £12 mark online but it lasts forever, I've had my pot months and I haven't even made a dent in it, bought a backup and gave it to my sister because it'd be years before I got to it! Your eyebrows are a great shape x

  3. The price tag on this scares me right off!! I LOVE the wand however. Now, Catrice do one which is ok. I am fair as fair can be. I use Essence pencil in Blonde for mine and this can look like Crayola if I am not super super careful. But I have seen a Rimmel one lately that has been taunting me. It's only a fiver and from the above pic, is very similar in colour too. Might have to try it out. Although I know my brows will have to be drawn in first. They're quite pathetic not like your own lovely healthy looking ones.

    1. It is very expensive Gwendy. I've tried the Catrice one and it done nothing for me unfortunately. I'm hoping to get my hands on an Essence one soon which I heard is a good dupe it has the mascara wand too ;) I must pick up the Rimmel one the next day I'm at a counter. :)

  4. I like Benefit but it's so pricey - I usually just use the darkest shadow in whatever palette I'm using. Cheap and effective!

    1. I love Benefit too, but the price is off putting on some of their products. The Gimme Brows is wonderful though and I can use it at this stage without even looking in a mirror lol x

    1. Thanks Lisa, I like that it just cleans mine up as they can be unruly but I can really build it up without worrying of it going out of control x

    1. Essence have a good dupe which I saw a review of on Makeup Monster which I need to get my hands on. Maybe it might work for you if the Benefit is too expensive which it is and I can't always afford it x

  8. First off, your eyebrows are absolutely, flippn fantastic! Regardless of using this product I'm overwhelmingly envious! I'll be looking for a dupe of Gimme Brows now! (as amazing as it seems I can't pay that price haha!) Right now, I'm using a mixture of powder and a pencil! Thanks for writing this fab review! xx
