My Top 5 Blushes: From Budget to Splurge

I have always loved experimenting with blushers, I like how versatile and changeable they are. From cream, powder to stains. From pan to stick form and then texture to pigmentation I could spend ages experimenting, swatching and mixing!

Mostly I like a blush that I can use all seasons or that can be incorporated in some way, and what I'm not a huge fan of is stains but that is just a personal preference as I always seem to breakout in spots when I use them. I've being threatening to do this post for awhile now and I've finally gotten round to it. So here are my top 5 in order of price.

1. NYC Beautifying Blushable Cream Stick - Never Sleeping Pink

A beautiful budget friendly cream blush that I spoke of previously here. These cost €3.49 and I really hope they come out with more colours soon!

2. Catrice Defining Blush - Think Pink

These are so pigmented and has vitamins C and E in there. Really blendable and another bargain at €3.79

3. Clinique Cheek Pop/Blush Pop - Berry Pop

I raved about this a couple of months back in a full review right here on the blog. I still can't get enough of it and if you want to see more swatches and what I thought here is the review. Is it worth €20? In all honesty YES!

4. MAC Pro Longwear Blush - Stay Pretty

This would be one of the newest additions to my collection but I love it so much and is my most worn blush since getting it. It's a bit of a splurge at €26.00 but really worth it as it lasts all day and buildable. To check out more of my thoughts on this blush check out review here.

5. Laura Geller Blush-N-Brighten - Berry

This might be a hard one to get in this colour as I haven't seen it online in Berry, but I love this! This was a gift earlier this year and when I first saw it I my initial thought was it's waaaay to dark for me, but I was so wrong. It gives me a beautiful defined cheek with a beautiful healthy sheen. It is highly pigmented so you need to use a light hand. On the Laura Geller website this is $27.50.

Let me know what you think of my picks or what your favourite blush is in the comments section below? xx

  1. Interesting picks- I love the look of that Clinique Cheek Pop- hopefully is still on counters, must swing by to have a look. Stay Pretty is a favourite of mine too! You are very good to narrow it down to just 5- I love me some blushes and think I would seriously struggle to pick out my top 20! xx

  5. They all look so pretty, I especially love the look of the MAC. At the moment I am rotating a couple of NYX blushes, really impressed with how soft they are and the pigmentation.

  6. Great picks :) Catrice do lovely budget blushes but at the moment I'm really loving NYX and Essence! They're both so soft and blendable. The pigmentation of the NYX blushes are insane so they scare me a little! xxxx
