#JuneBBC Day 14: Favourite Mascara

My holy grail of mascara would have to be Benefit's They're Real! Mascara. I have read mixed reviews on this but for me this is my must have.

I have long eyelashes but can't be seen as the tips are really blonde and with this jet black mascara they look so much longer, separated, and curled! The other bonus is it lasts all day and it's not clumpy that's an extra tick!

Before & After top lash only.
Sorry about the awful  pic, need to invest in a new camera!

How To Apply:

You hold the wand horizontally and wiggle your brush from side to side this gives you volume, length and lift. Then you turn it vertically and stroke upwards to curl and separate.

The Brush:

I like the slim brush and it helps get the hard to reach corners with it's custom domed tip. It's a plastic brush and not sure if that's to everyone's taste.

Does It Work:

Without a doubt it works for me and I love the effect.

Overall Verdict:

I will buy this again and I have to say it is on the pricey side, but I just have to have it again. I would love to see this formula made as waterproof even though I haven't had a problem as yet but haven't been in a situation to really test that part out, or even in other colours.

    1. I can't live without it and the full size seems to last forever that you don't want to go with the rule of changing your mascara every three months.

Thank you as always for taking the time to comment.

  2. Phew! I almost bought this but your review has made my mind up, I'm sure it's a great mascara but I hate those thin brushes! Just don't work on my lashes! So, thanks for saving me €26!

    1. I was never a fan of the thin brushes either but the shape of this really helps make it feel sturdier when applying. Glad i could help €26 is a lot to spend on a mascara.

Thanks for taking the time out to comment on my blog.
